*1 Day* Oakland Chinatown Watercolors
Saturday, August 5th
9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Come and explore Oakland's Chinatown with Miss Patrice and Miss Brooke! All ages and levels welcome! We will focus on historic buildings, iconic markets and capture this wonderful and vibrant part of town in sketches and watercolors. We will begin our day at 9:00 a.m. at Lincoln Square Park, (the 250 block of 10th Street @ Alice.) All of our sketching locations are close to Lincoln Square Park, including a great old fortune cookie factory.

We will offer sketching demonstrations and cover watercolor techniques including washes, dry brush, blotting and layering over to finish.

Once we have sketched our locations (and snacked) we will walk the three blocks to the Oakland Museum of California. There we we will have set-up for a picnic, watercolors and we will have plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful gardens and environs that are so private and shady!

Our ending time/pick-up will be at 4:00 at the 10th Street side of Oakland Museum of California, near Fallon St. (near the huge oak tree.)

Each artist must bring a lunch & beverage.
All snacks, materials, fees & fares included.
